[Solved] Does any version of Windows 7 allow backup OF (not to) files or folders on remote networked drives?

Does any version of Windows 7 allow backup OF (not to) files or folders on remote networked drives?

This was a standard feature of the old NTbackup on Windows up through XP.  Vista's backup and restore program had dramatically reduced features.  I found that one needs Windows 7 Professional or higher to backup TO a network drive/device, but I have been
unable to discover whether on any Windows 7 version the backup and restore program allows backup OF (from) data on networked drives.
Thanks.
