Clear group/outline on columns only, but this also removes row grouping/outlining.

Please help.
I have a spreadsheet with numerous rows and columns grouped/outlined.
When I try to clear the group/outline from some columns by highlighting the two columns, it removes not only the column grouping/outlining which I want, but the row grouping/outlining
as well.
This means I then have to spend the next 20 mins or so re-grouping/outlining all the rows again.
All I want to do is remove the Grouping/outlining from the two columns only, and leave the row grouping/outlining in tact.
I am using Excel 2007.
Can anyone help me please, it's driving me mad?

It sounds like you're selecting the columns to remove grouping, then using this command:
Data.Ungroup.Clear_Oultine

Try this, instead:
Data.Ungroup.Ungroup
