Defran wont open//Run

Hii,
      I'm currently running Win/7 and have Avast anti-virus installed and use spy bot search and destroy.
Thats all i use..
For some reason my defrag won't even open at all...
I'v tried hacking a copy of Diskeeper 'n that didn't work either.
Tried
going to safemode and doing a diskchck 'n that didn't work either.
Still won't open in safemode or normal.

Download SmartPCFixer to Fix It (Free)

Two points to look at.
 
If you have a solid state drive Disk Defragmenter is disabled because users are not advised to defragment this type of drive.
 
Has the Disk Defragmenter service StartUp type been set to disabled.
To check select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services.
Scroll down the list of services to Disk Defragmenter.
Right click and select Properties, General tab.
The StartUp
type should be Manual.
The options are available on a drop down by clicking on the arrow down to the right of the box.
Make the change and click on Apply and OK.
Restart the computer and try Disk Defragmenter.

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve Defran wont open//Run in Windows.

1. Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
3. Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt Window because we are done.

Try and see if you still get the same error Defran wont open//Run in your Windows.

Note: You may be prompted to enter your administrator's password when you try to execute certain system tasks!
