I was having problem with my pc, it was really hard to start it up, it was freezing before opening the desktop.
I called one of those companies that promise to fix by phone and they were charging a lot of money to "fix it", but the operaton got in my computer
and checked it out. Now I have installed windows 7 and the pc continues freezing up when is opening.
Most of the time i have to reboot it more than 3 times. The first time never start, so I have to turn it off and then on again and most of the time stop
working when it is about to open the desktop. What can I do or what do you think is the problem. Right now I was lucky that when I started the 3rd time, started working and i am using it now, but if I stop using it for10 or 15 minutes it go off, but the on
light continues on.

Download Error Fixer (Free)

Run the SFC /SCANNOW command.

Click on Start/All programs/Accessories then

Windows Recovery - Totally Fix All Errors including Desktop problem with Windows 7 - "PC freezing before opening desktop"

Click on the Start button on the Taskbar.
Type "System Restore" (without quotes) in the Search box and hit Enter or,
Click on System Restore (when you see System Restore pop up in the list of search results).
Make sure the "Recommended restore" radio button is checked on the restore utility window.
