created an append query want to append Only active/current record into other table

I have a customers Form and created and append query to add a new record to a jobs table to create a new job#(autonumber) and include the customerid that is the active-current record on the form.  I think I need to add criteria in the append query but not
sure of syntax for that criteria to ONLY append the One record for the current record from the customers form.
