Book fold page numbers not lining up

So I have this problem with the footers and page numbers of my document (A4, book fold margins, different footers for even and odd pages).

I have tried pretty much everything, but I can't get them to align symmetrically.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Displaying nonprinting characters would help.
Make sure there's not an extra, empty paragraph in one of the footers (this will inevitably happen if you copy/paste content from one footer to another).
From your screen shot, this doesn't appear likely, but
check to make sure that neither of the numbers has Spacing Before/After.
In general, just examine all the formatting of both paragraphs to see where they differ.
