## Conditional formatting - Today's date is 180 and 240 days past date in cell

I know this is simple, but I can't get it to work simply.

As you can see in the picture, I have a spreadsheet of dates.
I already have it formatting blank cells in
" =\$M\$24:\$S\$27,\$W\$24:\$AC\$27,\$W\$32:\$AC\$35,\$M\$32:\$S\$35,
\$C\$32:\$I\$35,\$C\$40:\$I\$43,\$M\$40:\$S\$43,\$W\$40:\$AC\$43,\$C\$24:\$I\$27,
\$M\$6:\$S\$9,\$M\$16:\$S\$19,\$W\$16:\$AC\$19,\$C\$16:\$I\$19 "
with red fill.
That is also going to be my target area for what this question is about.

With all of those dates - and there are a lot more not shown - I want conditional formatting to compare the date in the cell with today's date and change the formatting accordingly:
Red for a difference greater than or equal to 240 days (stopping if true to keep from nesting commands about the 180 day one?)
Amber for a difference greater than or equal to 180 days

The little " - " in the cells doesn't have to be a minus sign.
It's just something to designate that the listed person doesn't need a date in that cell.
It can be anything, obviously.

I don't want to have to go through typing conditions like: =(C16-TODAY())>180,
=(C16-TODAY())>240 , =(C17-TODAY())>180, =(C17-TODAY())>240, et cetera.
I can't get stuff like =Today()-180 to work either.

Is there a simple solution to apply across the target area, or do I need to cut my losses doing it the long way?
